In year 2007, 17 to 21 December, a team of four students from Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University (MMU) have conducted their magnetic nanoparticle experiments in zero-gravity environments, in a Japanese aircraft from Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency flying a parabolic flight.

This year, Malaysian National Space Agency (ANGKASA) is already calling for proposal for the parabolic flight competition. Approximately 20 seconds of microgravity (weightlessness, zero gravity) is simulated inside an aircraft Gulfstream II through parabolic flight. ANGKASA calls for proposals of experiments to be conducted in microgravity. The deadline to ANGKASA is 9 June 2008, 5:30pm. The details can be found here.
