Mini Airship Aeriel Photography

Airships, steerable vehicles that flies by using lighter-than-air gas for lifting, are used in advertising and surveillance. This project works on the design of the hardware. The airship has two main components which is the envelope and the gondola. The envelope is built in the shape of a cigar and filled with lighter-than-air gas. The movement of the airship is dictated by two motors, which are placed inside the gondola. This motor is able to rotate 180 degree that enables the airship to move in near three dimensional manner. These motors are controlled by a wireless remote control. A camera powered by a 9V battery is installed in the gondola to provide the aerial photographs.
